"There is divine beauty in learning, just as there is human beauty in tolerance. To learn means to accept the postulate that life did not begin at my birth. Others have been here before me, and I walk in their footsteps. The books I have read were composed by generations of fathers and sons, mothers and daughters, teachers and disciples. I am the sum total of their experiences, their quests. And so are you."

—Elie(zer) Wiesel (b. 1928) Romanian-born writer, lecturer, survivor Nazi camps, Nobel

Become a member of the Teen Advisory Board (TAB)

Want a say in what’s going on at the Library this summer? Become a member of the Teen Advisory Board!

If you are a high school student interested in improving the quality of services the library provides to teenagers, you are invited to join the Teen Advisory Board. TAB members help the Teen Services Librarian come up with ideas for programs, plan events, and make suggestions for the teen collection. We are always looking for new members.

We generally meet once a month for about an hour on the last Thursday of every month starting at 6:30 pm. (There are always plenty of snacks!) See you there!
