BookWorm Newsletter Winter/Spring 2014 Edition

Bookworm Reading Family-Style Story Times Join Ms. Pat & Ms. Mary for a weekly story time for kids of all ages. Stories, songs, puppets & crazy fun followed by a craft & snack! No Registration Necessary!  
  • Tuesdays at 10:00 am Feb. 11-April 8 & April 22 - 29

“PARTNERS IN READING” A free program for kids grades 1-5. Kids will explore books and reading activities one-to-one with their reading partners (SIUC students). Partners will select reading materials based on individual interests.
  • The 8-week program runs February 26 — April 24. Each child may sign up for 1 hour/week
  • Wednesdays and Thursdays at 3:30-4:30 or 4:30-5:30 at the Library
  • Register at the Circulation Desk through Feb 21. Also, register by phone at 457-0354, ext. 315 or by email at pking@carbondale.lib.il.us

 Applications are available at library and on-line on May 1 & are due June 6. Volunteers may choose shifts & days from June 9 - July 18.
