June 4th, 6-7:30pm
Carbondale Public Library
Refreshments served, everyone welcome!
"My art arises out of a sense of adventure and a need to communicate about my world through color, line, form, design, and image. I have taken many artistic voyages creating paintings in oil, acrylic, and watercolor, as well as working through a variety of techniques in sculpture, ceramics and print making. I harbor a great interest in luminosity and transparent effects. Creating the illusion of deep space within a two-dimensional surface intrigues me. The main subject of my work involves human response to nature that exists everywhere around us." - Bluma Herman.
