Martha Cropper will facilitate the film, and share her experiences working with children in Kenya, through Teach My Kenyan Children, a non-profit that works to improve educational opportunities for children. | Art Exhibits at the Library |

ON DISPLAY NOW: Mixed media drawings and paintings by R. Michael Fisher from May 15 to July 1.OPENING RECEPTION: Thursday, May 16 from 6-8 pm in the library meeting room. See larger view of Fisher's work... or visit www.loveandfearsolutions.com/art.php Local and regional artists may now apply to exhibit their works at the Carbondale Public Library. Artwork will be hung on the ramps leading to the upper and lower floors of the library. Library staff will sell artwork and collect a small commission to be donated to the library. Exhibits will last from six to eight weeks. Art organizations and individual artists are encouraged to apply. Interested artists can apply by filling out the CPL Art Exhibit Application, Agreement and Information form available on our website or at the library circulation desk.
