New Library Hours Starting June 21, 2010 |
| Mon-Thu: 9am-8pm Fri-Sat: 9am-6pm Sun: 1pm-6pm We will now be closing the library at 8:00pm, Monday through Thursday. Why the change? Like so many public services in Illinois, many of our costs have increased, while our revenue has gone down. Our per capita funding from the state of Illinois is long overdue. Meanwhile, other revenue-such as taxes, fines, fees and donations-has been less than anticipated as well. An early closing is one of many cost saving measures we will be taking. We are planning some fun fundraising activities, and yes, we do very gratefully accept donations! Donate Using a Credit Card |
